Sunday 24 March 2024 at 12.45pm – Alliance Française, 1 Kildare Street, Dublin 2
In 2015, pastry chef and Cordon Bleu Paris alumna Amanda Bankert (an American in Paris) purchased a small home fryer for 10 euros at a yard sale in Montmartre and started making artisanal doughnuts for local coffee shops. The following summer she and her business partner, Louis Scott, opened the doors of Paris’ first authentic donut shop in the food-centric 2nd arrondissement. Her last book Voila Vegan was published in August 2023.
