Marina Carr is a playwright who has written over thirty plays. Some of her recent work includes “Girl on an Altar”, “iGirl” and “Gilgamesh”. “Portia Coughlan” recently received a major revivals at The Almeida Theatre in London and Abbey Theatre in Dublin. She has received several prestigious awards for her work: The Wyndham Campbell Prize, The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and the E.M. Forster Prize from American Academy of Arts and Letters. She is an associate professor at Dublin City University and a member of Aosdána.

La dramaturge Marina Carr est l’auteur de plus de trente pièces. Parmi ses œuvres récentes, « Girl on an Altar », « iGirl » et « Gilgamesh ». Sa pièce « Portia Coughlan » a récemment été remise en scène au Théatre Almeida de Londres et au Abbey Theatre de Dublin. Elle a remporté des prix prestigieux pour son œuvre théâtrale, notamment le Wyndham Campbell Prize, le Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, et le Prix E.M. Forster délivré par l’Académie américaine des Arts et des Lettres. Elle est professeur associé à l’université de Dublin (DCU) et membre d’Aosdána.
