Sheila Armstrong

Sheila Armstrong is a writer from the northwest of Ireland. Her first collection of short stories, “How To Gut A Fish”, was published in 2022. “Falling Animals”, her debut novel, was released in 2023. Her writing has been listed for the Society of Authors Awards, the Galley Beggar Press Prize, the Kate O’Brien Award, the Irish Book Awards, and the Edge Hill Prize. She is an Arts Council Next Generation Artist.

Sheila Armstrong est une autrice du nord-ouest de l’Irlande. Son premier recueil de nouvelles « How to Gut A Fish » a été publié en 2022. « Falling Animals », son premier roman, est sorti en 2023. Ses œuvres ont été sélectionnées pour les Prix de la Société des Auteurs, le Prix Galley Beggar Press, le Prix Kate O’Brien, les Irish Book Awards, et le Prix Edge Hill. Elle a reçu la Bourse Next Generation du Conseil irlandais des Arts.
