Suad Aldarra

Suad Aldarra is a Syrian-Irish writer and data scientist based in Dublin. She was selected as the Common Currency writer in residence for Cuirt International Festival and English/Irish PEN in 2021 and was awarded the Art Councils of Ireland English Literature bursary. Her debut memoir, “I Don’t Want to Talk About Home”, published by Penguin, was shortlisted for An Post Irish Biography of the Year Award.

Suad Aldarra est une écrivaine et scientifique de données syro-irlandaise vivant à Dublin. Elle a été sélectionnée en tant qu’auteur en résidence ‘Common currency’ dans le cadre du Festival International Cuirt. Elle a reçu le Prix English/Irish PEN en 2021 et la Bourse de littérature anglophone du Conseil irlandais des Arts. Son premier mémoire « I Don't Want to Talk About Home » publié chez Penguin, a été sélectionné pour le prix An Post de la biographie irlandaise de l’année.
