Mathilde
Daudet
(France)
Mathilde Daudet was born in
1950. She is the great-granddaughter of the writer
Alphonse Daudet, author of the Lettres de mon
moulin (1870). She was a major war reporter for
over thirty years.
Her first novel, Choisir de vivre (2015) is a
fictionalised autobiography. Her second novel,
Theophobia (2016), attempts to explore the dramatic
upheavals that would occur in our society if
male-female roles were altered, if women entrusted
gestation of children to an incubator – an
“extra-utero” pregnancy.
Her novel Choisir de vivre was adapted for
theatre in 2017 by Franck Berthier.

Grand Reporter de guerre durant plus de trente ans.
Son premier roman Choisir de vivre (2015) est
une autobiographie romancée. Son deuxième roman,
Theophobia (2016), est une fiction qui tente
d’analyser les bouleversements de notre société, si
les rôles homme/femme étaient changés, si les femmes
confiaient la gestation des enfants à un incubateur:
une grossesse extra utero.
Son roman Choisir de Vivre a été adapté au
théâtre en 2017 par Franck Berthier. |
