Serge Joncour (France)
L’écrivain national (2014)

The son of a restaurateur, Serge Joncour published his first novel, Vu, in 1998. Then, in 2003, he won the Prix France Télévisions for U.V. (adapted for the cinema in 2007). He wrote the screenplay for the film Elle s’appelait Sarah, based on the novel by Tatiana de Rosnay, starring Kristin Scott Thomas. The movie has a resounding success. Along with Jacques Jouet, Hervé Le Tellier and many other artists and writers, he also contributes to the radio show Des Papous dans la tête on France Culture. His novel L’Idole was filmed, under the title Superstar, by Xavier Giannoli in 2012, featuring Kad Merad and Cécile de France. The film was presented in official competition at the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

Fils de restaurateur, Serge Joncour publie son premier roman Vu en 1998. Puis, en 2003, le Prix France Télévisions lui est remis pour U.V. (adapté au cinéma en 2007). Il est aussi, avec Jacques Jouet, Hervé Le Tellier et bien d’autres artistes et écrivains, l’un des protagonistes de l’émission de radio Des Papous dans la tête de France Culture. Son roman L’Idole fait, en août 2012, l’objet d’une adaptation cinématographique, Superstar réalisée par Xavier Giannoli avec Kad Merad et Cécile de France. Le film est présenté en compétition officielle à la Mostra de Venise 2012.
