Brendan McLoughlin (Ireland)
Last Breath (2013)

Brendan McLoughlin was born in 1991. He holds a BA in Economics, Politics and Law from Dublin City University, and an MA in Creative Writing from Queen’s University Belfast, where he is currently a PhD student.
In 2014, he was named the Hennessy 'New Irish Writer' for his first published short story Last Breath, which is due to be republished this year in The Hennessy Book of Irish Fiction 2005-2015. He has recently been awarded a bursary from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Brendan McLoughlin est né à Dublin en 1991. Il a obtenu une licence en économie, sciences politiques et droit à Dublin City University et un Master en écriture créative à la Queen's University de Belfast où il fait actuellement son Doctorat. Son premier ouvrage Last Breath a reçu le prix Hennessy New Writer of the Year en 2014 et sera réimprimé cette année dans The Hennessy Book of Irish Fiction 2005-2015. The Arts Council of Northern Ireland lui a attribué récemment une bourse.
