Making Way (2013)

Theo Dorgan is a poet, novelist, prose writer, librettist, translator, documentary scriptwriter, broadcaster and political commentator. He has been, among other things, co-Director of the Cork Film Festival and Director of Poetry Ireland/Éigse Éireann, the national poetry organisation. His work has been translated into many languages. Among his most recent publications are the novel Making Way, the poetry collection Greek and a collection of essays reflecting on the Irish Constitution, Foundation Stone, which he edited. He is a member of Aosdána and is a judge at the Hennessy Literary Awards.

Theo Dorgan est poète, romancier, auteur de prose, librettiste, traducteur, scénariste de documentaires, journaliste radio et commentateur politique. Il a été co-directeur du Festival de cinéma de Cork et Directeur de Poetry Ireland/Éigse Éireann, organisation nationale de poésie. Ses oeuvres ont été traduites en plusieurs langues. Parmi ses derniers livres parus, on peut citer le roman Making Way (2013), le recueil de poésie Greek (2010) et un recueil d'essais sur la Constitution irlandaise, intitulé Foundation Stone (2013), qu'il a lui-même édité. Il est membre de l’Aosdána et du jury du Hennessy Literary Awards.
