Véronique Ovaldé, born in 1972, is a writer with a particularly
lively imagination.
Le Sommeil des poissons,
Toutes choses scintillant, Les Hommes en général me
plaisent beaucoup, Déloger l'animal, Et mon cœur

world, in France but also abroad.
She received the Bourse Goncourt for children’s literature with the
illustrator Joëlle Jolivet for their album, La Très Petite
Zébuline.
Her latest book Ce que je sais de Vera Candida was awarded
the prix Renaudot des Lycéens, the prix France Télévisions and the
Grand Prix des lectrices de Elle.
She regularly takes part in performances with artists including
Françoise Quardon, Hervé Trioreau (Lieu Unique, Nantes, 2005),
