A law graduate and qualified in political sciences, Éric Fottorino
is the former editor of the newspaper Le Monde.
He published his first novel Rochelle in 1991. His novel
Un territoire fragile won the Europe 1 prize and the prix des
Bibliothécaires. He is also the author of Caresse de rouge,
which won the prix François-Mauriac 2004. Korsakov, his
seventh novel, was awarded the prix Roman France Télévisions 2004,
and the prix des Libraires 2005. He received the prix Femina 2007
for Baisers de cinéma.

was published in 2009 (Grand Prix des Lectrices de Elle) and his
latest work Questions à mon père, in 2010, pay vibrant
homage to his two fathers, one adoptive, the other biological.
