Martine Sonnet, born in the department of Orne, in 1955, lives very near Paris. She is a historian and a writer.

Atelier 62, her very original story mingling private and stark record, which came out in 2008, has experienced a sharp and  lasting  critical and public success, marked by its presence in many  prize  shortlists. Her writing proceeds from the friction between  literature  and social sciences. She is present in the literary  blogosphere with  a site including her blog "L'employée aux  écritures". Her book  which came out in 2009, Montparnasse  monde, is moreover, a  digital book. She also writes for radio.
